Artisan Gardens in Chemainus

Artisan Gardens is a phased residential subdivision project consisting of 23 lots in Phase 1 and 27 lots in Phase 2. The development is conveniently located a short distance between downtown Chemainus and the Island Highway on Askew Creek Road off River Road. The location is about a ten minute, 7 mile drive north to Ladysmith from the highway junction at River Road and Island Highway. The development is unique in its countryside setting. The developer has provided a large community garden for the exclusive use of the owners on a section of adjoining farmland that is part of the parent property. The building lots are fully serviced with District of North Cowichan (DNC) water, telephone from Telus, natural gas from Fortis, fire protection from DNC, as more set forth in the Developer’s Disclosure Statement.

Artisan is a quality controlled subdivision. High quality builders such as Star Homes by Philip Landick Developments Ltd. are offering several homes in the development. This will assure that there will be a mix of very high quality homes in the finished subdivision. The developer has provided beautiful green lawn boulevards, sidewalks and ornamental lighting standards, assuring a first class development. There is an abundance of nature walks and beautiful nature parks nearby and many amenities in Chemainus including the Chemainus Health Center, theatre, museum, quaint shops, restaurants, banking, recreational facilities and the waterfront.

Chemainus is a seaside community which is located just off the Trans Canada Highway 12.5 miles north-east of Duncan and 7 miles south of Ladysmith. Artisan Gardens is situated between the Old Chemainus Road (that runs through the centre of town) and the Island (Trans Canada) Highway.
